The Faces Of Rewild Festival

Last year I came to Rewild simply as an attendee.

My camera wasn’t there because I had been asked to photograph the festival. It was there because I couldn’t resist the people, the atmosphere and all the little moments unfolding around me.

As the weekend went on, I found myself wandering away from the stages, drawn instead to the conversations, the laughter, the children, the volunteers and the quiet moments that so often go unnoticed.

These are the photographs that stayed with me.

They aren’t a record of every workshop or performance. They’re a collection of the people and moments that, for me, captured the true spirit of Rewild.

I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed making them.

This collection is part of an ongoing documentary project exploring the people, places and communities that make Ireland so special.
